Lessons

At South Beach Dive & Surf we offer group and private lessons. Classes are held on demand and only when the conditions are favorable. We also offer free introductory lessons most Sunday mornings at the 3rd street lifeguard tower.

Reservations are required. Please call the shop at 305 673 5900 and schedule your lesson today or send us an email.

Private lessons: $100 / 90 minutes (includes board rental)

Group lessons: $80 per person / 90 minutes (includes board rental)

The lesson will be tailored to your skill level. If you are a beginner, you will learn: the basics of paddling, board safety, about the equipment, surfing history, surf conditions, entry and exit, and how to catch waves.

If you are under 18 years old, you will need your parents consent (they will need to come in the shop with you to sign the release) The minimum age to participate is 12.
